    Pinnacle is a brioche tunic knit in the round top down with raglan sleeves. Work in brioche rib to just below the waist where you split for the final hem and sides. The low-high split for the hem features a moss stitch detail along the edges. 

     

    Pinnacle is knit in a single brioche rib creating a fabric that has a beautiful texture, squish and warmth making it a wonderful transition piece for your handmade wardrobe.

     

    Pinnacle features a funnel neck, short sleeves and optional hip shaping. This size-inclusive tunic is meant to be worn with 4-6” / 10-15 cm of positive ease.

    To choose your size, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your bust, then add the amount of positive ease you prefer and choose the closest size. 

     

    If you are between sizes, you can size up or down depending on whether you want more or less ease in the bicep or in the hips (See schematic in photos).

     

    YARN

    Designed for sport weight yarn.

    Knit in The Fibre Co. Cirro (40% Suri Alpaca, 40% organic cotton, 20% Merino wool; 246 yd / 225 m per 50g) in Pure.  Sample knit is size 5 with 6”/15 cm of ease.

    GAUGE

    16 sts x 21 (counted) rnds = 4” / 10 cm, in brioche rib in the round on gauge needles, unblocked

     

     

    NEEDLES

    US 6 / 4.0 mm or size needed for gauge, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm circular needles (DPNs optional)

     

    US 8 / 5.0 mm, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm circular needles (DPNs optional) 

    Note: used for CO and bind off
