I am so excited to share with you what was to be my Rhinebeck Sweater for 2021!
Sadly I had to cancel my trip as my day job has me running every where these days. However I plan to live vicariously through my dearest girlfriends flying there now.
This cozy sweater is like a perfectly worn sweatshirt. And perfect for these current fall days we are enjoying in Minnesota. Delphinium is a top down circular yoke sweater knit in one piece. This basic pullover is designed to wear with 2-6”/5-15 cm of positive ease. The hem is split near the front for an edgy look and paired with a ribbing detail found at the sides and underarm along the sleeve.
The pattern is written to include optional bust darts and notes sections for personal modifications for fit and style. For my sample, I chose to use Dapper Dye Works in their Darling Delphinium colorway holding their Pearl (fingering) and Foxy (mohair) bases together. The result is just luscious!
This sweater is beautiful knit with yarns held together or a beautiful DK weight yarn base. My amazing test knitters had a variety of versions - here is a LINK to the round-up on Ravelry.
